My First Grey Hair

It has been almost a month since I wrote my last blog entry. Life is so busy and I don't have time to keep up with it as often as I like.

At hagwon we have started teaching kindergarden, and due to a shortage of teachers we are working overtime and without a break. One of the receptionists found a white/grey hair on my head, "Oh no, Louise! It is already happening!" and then felt guilty for telling me.

This is all I have time to write now...hopefully I will find more time in the future.

It's only one gray hair. I've had random gray hairs since I was a kid... just pluck it out and forget it. It's when you have to consider dying your hair that you should worry... Luckily, I'm not there yet. ;)

Don't worry about the grey hair.

Worked for Rogue in the X-Men.

I saw your blog a month or so ago. I smiled at the picture of the two teachers studying Korean. Then I closed the window and forgot all about it.

So I was pretty surprised today when I went to visit my old boss and two friends at a new school... and that same picture was on the desktop of a computer in the faculty room. And then I started talking to Tim, who looks more or less identical to that picture.

It's a small world, here in Seoul.

When the kids misbehave, you can use the time-honored Korean mother guilt-trip technique!

"Because of you, my hair is turning grey..."
"Because of you, I shall go to an early grave..."
