Central Park

Songsu and I found this park about a month ago, a 15 minute bus ride away from our home. It is known as Jungang Gongwon/중앙공원 or Central Park. It is a really nice place to relax, cycle or take a walk. Normally there is a tall fountain in the middle of the pond, which would normally disguise the apartment buildings seen in the top photograph. However we did not take the photo at the right moment....perhaps another time.

Actually this park was the inspiration behind us buying a bicycle each, as the park is connected to the river system that runs through Bundang. People can cycle along the river, all the way to Seoul It took us about 1 1/2 to cycle to Seoul, and 2 hours back because I was exhausted from the heat. These days it is monsoon season, and the weather can be debilitating, so we have temporarily lost the will to get on our bikes until the the weather is less humid (maybe September).

How does the humid heat there compare with the London humidity? :)
